Prayer for me...um please?

Hey everyone,
this is my first post on MAD 4 Christ.
I was just wondering if ya'll could pray for me? I really want a closer friendship with Jesus, and because I have done some wrong things in my life, I keep thinking Jesus does not want me anymore. I know this isnt true!! So please pray.

Hi ali, welcome to the site by the way. I will be praying for you. But remember that God does want you!! I know it is hard sometimes to remember that God loves us mistakes and all, but He does. God is so gracious and we can see His wonderful hand when He gives us grace and mercy.

I know how you're feeling! I've felt like that many times... here is a song called "God Sees" that really helped me through some hard times. I'll be praying for you.

I have heard of her!God sees is the first time I've listened to her sing.She has a an amazing voice!

2 Corinthians 12:9 is a verse that has helped me so much in my friendship with God:

"“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.”

If we had no weaknesses, God's power and strength couldn't be made known through our weak and sinful lives. God does not want you to dwell on the past. I have felt the same way before, and it is such a bondage to be in... please don't let yourself be there. Ask God to set you free from that and to forgive you for what you've done - and He will forgive you!

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
-1 John 1:9
